Who should apply? Medical students who have taken USMLE Step 1 and are interested in a leadership position on the Spoonful of Sugar Student Board

What is the time commitment? About 1-2 hours per week, including monthly board meetings

Content Committee
Responsible for producing SoS podcast episodes
- Approve hosts & content ideas
- Design podcast release schedule
- Peer review submitted episodes
- Edit podcast episodes
- Publish weekly episodes

Tech Committee
Responsible for managing SoS website & platforms
- Restructure website for improved accessibility & functionality
- Regularly update website with new episodes & team members
- Develop cohesive SoS brand with Social Committee
- Direct communications through contacts page
Research Committee
Responsible for research projects & fueling growth of SoS
- Execute academic research projects related to medical student education
- Survey & identify unmet needs of medical students
- Propose avenues for growth & expansion
- Seek sponsorship opportunities
